Another birthday party

Friday, December 15th, 2006

Another Birthday party, well this one was a little more exciting than Ben birthday. It was all about shouting and singing and dancing. I even managed to captured some of it on camera. Here it is:

And here is one of the table:

We ended up going to a club called 333 in old street, it was all good. We danced like idiots and sung crap. All very drunken.

Ow, a little news on the work front.

Simon house warming email

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

I was very impressed by this. It what Si wrote for our house warming party:

Now listen. This Saturday (the 11th) Ed and myself are having some kind of
“come round to Streatham and be in our new house with us and drink and laugh
and mingle and possibly feel slightly uncomfortable at some points but it's
ok because you can always make excuses and go and talk to someone else
perhaps in the kitchen or somewhere…” type of evening thing. It's going to
be great.

There will be drinks and nibbles and fun and board games and conversation
and satire and music and plenty of space for people to kip if they begin to
feel tired or simply unable to cope with the amount of alcohol coursing
through their bodies. Obviously, because the house is so nice and posh, we
do ask that you either bring a monocle, or, at the very least, know someone
who owns one. Failing that, having an eccentric uncle who wears a bowler hat
will also suffice (although we do ask that he's a blood relation as opposed
to merely through marriage). We are also, it must be said, unable to provide
any guarantee that you won't wake up with a grumpy liver, cantankerous
kidneys or a brain that feels like a crate of eggs on a moped.

It's easy enough to get to from London Bridge (direct line straight to
Streatham station) but anyone wanting directional specifics can give me a
buzz and I'll be more than happy to help them out. I've also attached a map
that shows the station and our rough location - when you see the large gates
and beige gate posts, you know you're there. It's probably best you don't
zigzag across the road like I've illustrated on the map though or you'll
more than likely turn up dead.

Anyway, it'd be lovely to see you all there and I hope you all can make it.

Take care all, see you soon.

Ow on a work front.

Sneaking into the producers

Thursday, November 16th, 2006

Well I should have a good night tonight a friend of mine is working backstage on The Producers, you know the West End show about putting on a musical that fails. If you live in london you couldn't have missed the posters they are everywhere, all over the tubes, two guys climbing out a window.
Anyway it should be fun, I might have to sit quietly in the lighting box, but I don't mind, actually I would almost perferre it. I would be like getting shown around the kitchens in McDonalds when you were a kid or going into the cockpit on on a aeroplane.

On a positive note.

Becoming Eligitable

Thursday, October 12th, 2006

Okay I have soemthing quite wierd happen, basically two things happened in a very short amount of time. Firstly I moved out of home, into a huge staely home type house, It's really lovely (Too nice almost) and SEcondly my finances improved dramatically this has had one very odd effect, my elligatablity has sky rocketed.
Basically a month ago I was the poor saddo living with his Mum, How I'm an upwardly able young professional. It's very strange. Within one week of moving out I ended up sleeping with one of my old friends, which is really strange.
I mean I had always fancied her, but I'm fairly sure she's going out with someone else. I just kind of feel like I haven't had a chance to get my head around it all. I'm mean I haven't even had time to get a arial for my TV set yet.
Anyway this is just another example of how I should just calm down for god sake, I better start think like a young professional not a mummys boy.

Finally we seem to be progressing with the site.
Well I have totally finished the problem prone skin page

Comic strip A.L.P.

Wednesday, January 18th, 2006

Have a gander at this site. A web comic called Alien Loves Predator put together by Bernie Hou. It's a joke aimed at the Predator and Alien film franchises. The idea is rather than ripping each other throats out here they are bum buddies. The main character are Abe the Alien (socially inept, sex starve and impulsive) and Predator Preston who normally rational and a calming influence.

Take a look at LongHorn.

Friday, January 13th, 2006

I've just recieved this in my spam dump. I'm don't even know the sender, it appears to be a early look at Longhorn windows new operating system.

Longhorn is now considered a major Windows release by Microsoft, and new versions are deep in the process of being user tested. However some people have managed to get their hands on copies of the system, causing a stir in the Windows enthusiast community. These are the snippets I got hold of:.
