The Struggle

I remember living in a foreign country well. That’s not to say that I enjoyed every moment of it, or that “well”was the word that first came out of my mouth when someone asked “how you are getting on with the language, then?”(usually it was “crap, thanks”), but that I remember The Struggle vividly. One of the main annoying things about The Struggle was trying to decipher the newspapers – without a decent (or even moderate) grasp of the language to aid me, I was forced to speculate on what the pictures meant. Suffice to say my imagination often came in handy.

I imagine it’s the same for someone trying to read an English web-site. And while many companies don’t have translating high on their list of priorities, some do and energy saving gurus Enigin are one of them:

Enigin seem to know, you see, that global communication is one of the key ingredients in the monumental fight against the evil climate change monster. That may sound like a very obvious thing to say, but let’s be frank shall we? Most countries have a hard enough time conveying the information in their own language, let alone another. To them, the monster is more a bumbling giant than any kind of terrific threat.

Enigin also like to update, add new things and generally make the consumer’s life easier wherever possible, as you can read about at the aforementioned post which you should have already clicked on so why haven’t you yet?
