As of sometime very very recently, Big Mouth Media the SEO company has been pulled from the Google Index. Big Mouth used to rank in first position for search engine optimisation, which is about as tough as it gets in the seo world.

So they no longer rank for the big competitive search terms that they used to rank for, and their home page is no longer even stored in the Google Cache:

They have done something wrong, I don’t know what at this stage. It may well be that they resolve this and make ammends very quickly, quietly and efficiently which would be all well and good for them and their clients. If however they have over stepped the mark in a big way, or they handle the post appologies badly this could mean bad news for them.

Why am I telling you this? They are an SEO company, so they work on behalf of clients. If they have offended, it stands to reason that they have done so in a bid to gain ranking for clients, in which case it seems logical that their client base will be examined and re evaluted depending on the relationships and the links in place.

This could be nothing at all, but if you happen to be a client of theirs, or employ their services you need to have a little think about your position. This could all go away in a few days, but if it doesn’t, so you really want your business looked after someone who couldn’t keep their own site within Googles clearly stated guidelines?
