It is funny what the internet can bring about, and in this case what it has done to a my friend Amil Shah!
The sharing of information and the access that the internet has granted us is phenominal! In terms of education, the results have been amazing, and the advances in business it has fueled have been less fires and more explosions! However, as with anything there are alwasy some downsides that come with any new technology or advancement. In this case it is the process of misinformation. I have a specific example to quote.
A friend of mine, Amil Shah is an optometrist. He deals in the making and selling of glasses. He is a gentle man, he is also very good at his job. Currently he works as one of the main directors at a couple of specsavers in north london, I know he is based in Ilford alot. Anyway, someone googled his name with the word glasses to try and find his store, and low and behold, instead of finding him in first position, they found an article by the bbc talking about amil shah the member of the taliban! Now this is not ideal for a man in his position. I mean fair enough, probably no one is ever going to confuse the two, but it’s really not very helpful!

Anyway, lets hope that Amil doesn’t get confused with the other Mr Shah and end up with a bag on his head hiding on an island!
