The spirit of punk!
PuNk yersterday the entire bunch of us got into Punk Karaoke last night at The Garage in islington, it was fucking amazing! It's a hard core punk gig however the front man is you. It's the chance to sing backed up by a kicking live band. It on ever 2 weeks,but get their on time or you haven't got a hope in hell of singing.
They play a whole load different of songs, including classic PuNk songs and new school song given a PuNk egde. It doesn't even matter if you can't remember the words, they even have a well hid autocue in case. It's the most hard core night out in old london town.
One thing did put me off, everyone was fucking good not like down your local sunday night karaoke where anyone can sing some 'Madonna' wank. Most the people who go up are amazing some of them must be in bands. My favorite bit were the Ted monster doing 'Blister in the Sun' and Marie ruining 'Should I stay or Should I go'. Punk is NOT dead!
Just to complete your day how about some killer stuff I found on my travels. My mate Dave has quit his job as a chef and is now working for first4sale a online estate agent, check it out. A quick plug for a website I have done some work with recently court house cosmetic surgery.
