New SEO craze article submission.

Recently the most talked about form of internet marketing is to write articles and allow them to be freely reproduced, with links to your website.. The idea is that you compose a article then place a link to your website at the bottom and then other people place the article on their website for all their visitors to see. So not only do you get a one-way inbound links on very relevant pages, and you get plugged on someone else site to boot.

Which all sounds great what with the constant rumours about reciprocal linking being dead.

I'm am still to be convinced, that this is really such a god send. Article marketing in my opinion requires a lot of skill.

For example how easy would it be to get inbound links to help you in the search engines. The problem is the duplicate filter, because because everyone is picking up the same article it will always alert the duplication filter, so you can have the article publish on a thosand websites, the search engines are only going to give you credit for one and then they might have policy against putting live links in the articles they include.

So to get 10 links you would probable need to write at least 15 good articles.

“But articles themselves will bring you traffic in themselves” I hear you say! Maybe. To make webmasters want to publish your article they have to be written in a certain manner. The reason why writers don't get many article published is because they are adverts not articles, they write the articles just to plug their product. People pay them to put these kind of article on their sites, chances are they won't do it for free. To get them published their needs to be something in it for the website that are published. But if you write a informative/entertaining piece that is not made to advertise, the reader usually won't have any good incentive to go to your site.

Usually webmasters publish article to make their site better rather than to send people away.

I predict 4 months down the line, most people will have got sick of writing articles after getting next to no results.
I know you've all been waiting for the killer sites I have been looking at. My mate Dave has quit his job as a chef and is now working for first4sale a online estate agent, check it out. This is my mates site that he designed to help you sell your house
