All European website will be legally required to be accessible by disabled people, in order not to fall foul of the Disability Discrimination Act. All the details are here: Disability Discrimination Act.

This is what I was sent through email.

“It only takes one complaint to the Disability Rights Commission about your website for them to start an investigation, and if they decide to proceed with legal action, you could face a huge cost not only in compensation, but also for your company’s credibility.”

- Anne-Laure Dupuis

Only a few website realistically need to worry about these changes in legislation. Your website would need to be very large before it would realist be a problem. Their are only a couple of orginsation that would bother to sue over this, and I doubt they woudl sue my little websites.

I’m not saying that Anne-Laure Dupuis is a fraud, the service you could provide is ligitimate (even though both of here website don’t compile). However it is attempting to scare people so that they pay for her service, quite underhand. in my opinion.

Here’s some groovy stuff I found whilst surfing. An old family of mine has started a online gallery of still life. Have a look. My friend has just started up a website about Jewish speeddating in London, she really good at that kinda of stuff. have a look.

Goodbye for now!
