New Job on the horizon.

Thursday, September 8th, 2005

Even though I haven’t managed to fix the mail problem, I do feel like I have had a valuable day. I sent my CV in for a job at a law office today, up in Town, It’s a part time contract, so it’s no the end of my life I do but It’s £16,000 + benefits which would mean I could move out. Other news our nieghbours they are putting up a huge extension to their home and They have hired a new laborer, a beautiful
raven haired girl, she’s doing a fantasic job but she wated there.

Aparently though I have still managed to waste as incredible amount time:

“I thought I’d begin by reading a poem by Shakespeare, but then I thought, why should I? He never reads any of mine.”
- Spike Milligan

Last but not least some killer sites I found on my travels. Does anyone want a free gmail invite? For Promotinal business things why not give away cotton tea towels?

That all I got, leave me alone.

Email problem still going on.

I have wasted yet another day in a eternal battle with A mail problem. I have been trying to get a access 2000 application to talk to outlook. When I started this seemed like a seemed to be a nifty project, but I personally have been stuck behind the same problem now for three weeks and it’s driving me insane. Thanks god a mate Sham who is helping out but I really think his good nature is drooping.

Aparently though I have still managed to waste as incredible amount time:

“My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.”
- Spike Milligan

And now for some cool sites I’ve been amusing myself with. I have another stupid but addictive game, it’s called ALAIS it’s a strange combination of mouse plus keyboard, try it. This is what we used for the promotion of shrimp rocket a mate of mine does the Textile printing at supreme creations.

Anyway I must go work or something.

The show must go on.

Sunday, September 4th, 2005

Just a lazy sunday afternoon, I have spent all daytime just dripping around with my relatives. It’s been cosy. We installed a weird little log fire in the living room and my sis began doing internet dating, that really hard for me to come to terms with however I suppose it make sense in this age.

But I’ve still had time to look at rubbish on the net.

New Orleans Hurrican

Saturday, September 3rd, 2005

Well here is a weird situation after the Hurrican Katrina devastate the city of New Orleans . Now there is an appeal for financial assitance. That not the peculiar bit. A whole city destoryed hundered dead, that makes sense. These people need help, I agree. The interesting bit is that it is the USA. Think of the the Asia Tsunami that killed more than 200,000 and they desperately needed the money. The amount of aid was incredible. The American figures are not in yet, however I think the loss will be more in damage to property than human lifes.
I’d like to know how much people in other countries completely disconnected to the plite will give up. America’s foreign policy has pissed of quite a few people and their policy toward the environment is just as bad. But they have loads of money, the problem is it distrubuted so unevenly.

But I’ve still had time to look at rubbish on the net.
